BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

I'm being interviewed for this week's issue of Comixpedia, which is the largest and most important webcomic publication out there. If you ever felt like knowing more about this humble artist who draws this silly little comic, follow the link!

There are other important things I want to talk about as well, guys... Please keep reading.

This is the cover for A&I's third chapter, 'The Good, the bad and the dirty'. The story is finally advancing to something interesting (the way it should be in the first place, Alex and Ilia was always meant to be sci-fi/adventure focused). New characters are finally being introduced, and I hope this chapter will provide a leap in terms of writing. Everything I did so far had the main objective of learning how to tell stories properly, and things are still bound to keep changing as I discover new ways of storytelling.

This chapter, as it's not hard to guess from its name, was originally based on western spaghettis (based as in "paying a homage to them"). The new character, Delbert, is constructed with those old far west movies in mind. But, as I came across some tales and songs from the Irish and Celtic culture, I decided to include those on this chapter as well. So it's going to be a (hopefully good) mix of western and sailing stories. From time to time there are going to be cameos, names and other references to those. If you spot them, great. If you don't, it doesn't matter, you'll be able to enjoy the story just the same. And from time to time I'll throw explanations on said references, just out of curiosity.

One last thing I need to speak to you guys, is how I'm not able to draw one comic a week anymore. Don't worry, my buffer go all the way to October. But after that I don't know what is going to happen. I'm just about to start on a new job, and together with college, I won't have too much free time to work on this comic. But don't worry, the updates will be there. They may be not here every Monday, but they will be. And because I'm starting to use infinite canvas, some of the pages have material worth of a month's work anyways.

Peace,
Rodrigo Pin
